MEMBER GROUPS civilians - they’re basically your everyday city folk who do not have the powers bestowed to them by a king. that’s not to say that noncombatants can’t be involved with a clan, but they have no powers, nor are they enrolled in ashinaka high school. students - they are ordinary humans who are enrolled in ashinaka high school. they’re not typically clansmen as students. clansmen - they are people who have received the power of their respective king, although they do not necessarily have to be working with that clan. be warned, however, that police clans will be keeping tabs on independents who have left their original clan. for more details, please refer to this threadstrains - these are humans or animals who have developed special characteristics or an ability. however, the ability of strains on walls of jericho will be limited to level four (refer to power for details). strains get the most free rein when deciding upon the nature of their ability. however, life sucks for them when homra keeps their influence in check and scepter4 is out to lock them up. there are generally two kinds of strains on walls. the kind who are discriminated against/engage in shady work, or the kind who hides their powers and identity really well

KINGS extra-alphas, or kings are special beings who have synchronized with the dresden slate. they display extraordinary capabilities and often create clans of beings that are the most similar to themselves.
kings do not require a special application. in exchange for that, we will be looking at your app with a more critical eye. this is because of their overwhelming power. protip: spend a little more time looking over the history/abilities section of your app
kings can only be accepted with the approval of both admins
general rules still apply. that means no powerplaying. we understand that this is a little more difficult when kings are canonly op as hell, but a good rule of thumb is, do not get heavy handed without the permission of other players.
kings can only be killed by other kings - no exceptions. suicide is not an option. projectiles will either be destroyed by their aura, or will miss the king entirely.
activity requirements are a bit different for kings. kings must post at least twice a month, and hiatuses are limited to one month
the sword of damocles must always be in the sky whenever the king uses his or her aura.
at any given time, the king can only be in two aura battles in which they show their sword of damocles. if it’s a casual (lol) barfight with no aura being thrown around, then it does not count towards the limit
for every extra battle (beyond the two battle limit) that the king attends with his or her sword, the king’s weissman level goes up by one. when the weissman level hits seven, they will lose control of their power. when that happens, their sword of damocles will drop, causing immense damage that would be akin to a nuclear disaster. as a courtesy, it would be appreciated if kings who would attain their seventh level upon a certain thread would make arrangements for another king to kill them within that thread. this is because taking out an important locale such as ashinaka high would screw with a lot of people's plots.
upon the death of a king, all of his or her clansmen will lose all their powers. those who wish to revert to civilians can notify a member of the staff, while those who have the solid intentions of contracting with the next king can remain in the clan member group. however, none of the members of that clan will be able to use auras until a new king is secured.
