Whether or not Arata actually has friends is mostly a toss-up. On the other hand, he resents the feeling of indebtedness, so it wouldn't hurt to have him owe you a favor (okay well that STILL DOESN'T MAKE THEM FRIENDS but it's a start). He's not very friendly either, but if you do manage to endear yourself to Arata, he will find a way to pull through for you in the end, even if he has to move mountains. I'm not sure yet if he'd be particularly friendly to clansmen or other Strains, but he's completely okay with buddying up with another person if he can milk info out of them or if his mission requires it.
Arata is a fickle person who will either keep his enemies so close that they'll feel him breathing down their necks, or he'll put a metaphorical ocean between himself and them. He vaguely remembers being taken into Scepter4 custody, so Blue Clansmen might be a sore spot for him. On the other hand, he can't remember much because his mind's shut his memories out, so Red Clansmen are equally as distasteful to him. tl;dr Arata probably hates everyone but is too apathetic to actively raise a fist against any of them oops.
Haha I'm not sure if anyone wants to make the unhappy accident of landing themselves here. Alternatively, I do think that Arata would make for an incredibly loyal lover and respect them a lot since they were patient enough to pick away at his abrasive exterior persona?
Goodness gracious this is a slapdash attempt at a plot page but if you have any plots in mind, feel free to throw them at me! Arata Kazeshima is a Strain who obeys no one, but I do intend on having him eventually become loyal to a clan (after lots and lots and lots and lots of development). At the moment, he isn't up to anything, and I suspect the only thing that stops him from landing himself on the point of a sword is his own resourcefulness and the fact that he's basically got muck to spread about absolutely everyone.
Come at me?
